Poor Alice!
No wonder she was confused and upset, wandering in Wonderland, wondering why people believed th opposite of the obvoius; why arrogant, arbitrary, foolish, and irrational rulers advocated capital punishment; why folks ate and drank and smoked things on purpose to make themselves crazy and change their appearance; why "it takes all the running you can do to keep in the same place"; and why she was told in no uncertain terms, "What I tell you three times is true."
Lucky Alice! Whee she went was relatively sane.
What if she had traveled to the twenty-first-century?
